Anastasia Tomanek Awarded 2023 AMS Women in Science Scholarship
May 19, 2023We are thrilled to announce that Anastasia Tomanek, an AOS undergraduate student, has been awarded the 2023 American Meteorological Society (AMS) Women in Science Scholarship!
This scholarship supports women in the atmospheric, oceanic, and climate sciences, and it was established to acknowledge that gender diversity is essential in the pursuit of better science. An all-woman committee reviews and selects the recipient of this award.
As part of the award, Anastasia is invited to attend the AMS Annual Meeting and will serve one year as a member on the AMS Women’s Committee. Congratulations, Anastasia!
