WELCOME to DataStreme Participants
This page has been developed for use by the participants of the DataStreme
Project. The Web has many sites that contain plenty of weather and climate
information. From the experience that you gained from your participation
in the DataStreme Project, you should be sort through some of the avalanche
of information. The accompanying pages and links to other web sites have
been developed by me to assist you in finding valuable information, and
do not represent the official DataStreme Project Website. The listing of
sources have been accumulated from my experiences gained preparing the
daily national weather summaries for the DataStreme Project as well as
teaching an introductory level course called Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences
100: Weather and Climate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Since many sites come on line or change frequently, one has to be patient
and expect continual construction. Click the reset button often to get
the update. If you have any suggestions, comments or complaints, please
contact me. You can e-mail me by clicking on the entry hopkins@meteor.wisc.edu
found here and on each page. However, if you have a question, or do
not mind a response, please include your current email address where I
can reply to you. Sometimes my response can't be delivered because the
site that the sender may have used doesn't have a recognizable address.
